Flight Sergeant LAURENCE VICTOR MURRELL 1338275, 101 Sqdn., Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve who died age 22, on 2 December 1943. His Lancaster SRN-2 took of from RAF Ludford Magna at 1700 on 2 December 1943 to bomb Berlin but crashed at Rehfelde in Germany. Two other 101 squadron Lancasters were lost on this operation.

Details:
Son of Edward Reginald and Constance Ada Annie Murrell, of Lee, London. His brother Keith Edward also died on service.
