Sergeant HAROLD MUNNERY of 90 Squadron Royal Air Force was killed on 21 April 1943, aged 20. At 2149 on 20 April Short Stirling WP-S took off from RAF Ridgewell in Essex to bomb Rostock. At 0048 on 21 April the aircraft crashed in the sea off Klint in Denmark.
He has no known grave and is commemorated on the Air Forces Memorial at Runnymede.

He was the son of Herbert John and Elsie Munnery, of Forest Hill.
