2nd Lieutenant Leonard Leighton Moody of 'A' Company, 12th Royal Sussex Regiment died aged 21 on the 30 June 1916. He was awarded the Military Cross [MC].

He has no known grave and is commemorated on the Loos Memorial [Panel 69 to 73]

Location of Memorial:
He is remembered in the Royal Sussex Regimental chapel in Chichester Cathedral and on the memorial at Christ Church, Lee.

Details:
He was born in the autumn of 1894 in the Lewisham RD and was the son of Thomas and Sarah Moody, of Cleeve House, Barton, New Milton, Hants.
