Millard, Donald James

War Service:
Bombardier DONALD JAMES MILLARD of 91 Field Regiment, Royal Artillery died on 18 April 1944.

He is buried in Beach Head War Cemetery, Anzio. The cemetery was close to a Casualty Clearing Station and it is therefore probable that he died of wounds.

Location of Memorial:
He is remembered on the memorial to the 91 and 139 Field Regiment, Royal Artillery in St Swithun’s church, Hither Green.

He was 24, the son of Sydney and Mabel Millard. He married Mona Webb in Southport, Lancashire in the spring of 1941.
