Lance Sergeant 11049 CHARLES HENRY MAY of ‘G’ Company, 2nd Battalion Highland Light Infantry died on 31 October 1914 aged 22.

He is buried in Hagle Dump Cemetery, near Ypres.

He is remembered on the memorial at St Bartholomew’s church, Sydenham.

Details:
He was the son of Henry Thomas and Mary Ann May, of 17, Panmure Road, Sydenham.
