Private 295403 WALTER MARDON of 2/4th battalion London Regiment (Royal Fusiliers) was killed in action on 20 September 1917, aged 37. He had previously served with the 22/Londons.

He has no known grave and is commemorated on the Menin Gate at Ypres.

Location of Memorial:
He is also remembered on the memorial at the church of St James, Hatcham.

Details:
He was the son of Samuel Henry and Martha Celia Mardon.
