Malyon, Walter

War Service:
Private 312367 WALTER MALYON of 3rd battalion Essex Regiment died on 2 April 1916, aged 42. He enlisted in Woolwich. He had previously served during the South African campaign.

Location of Memorial:
He is buried in Brockley cemetery, where his name is recorded on the screen wall listing those whose graves have no headstone.

Details:
He was born in Kelvedon Common, Brentwood in Essex, the son of Walter and Sarah Malyon and husband of W. Malyon, of 8, Spring St., Tanners Hill, Deptford.
