War Service:
Trooper George Frederick Luffingham, ‘A’ Squadron 1/2 County Of London Yeomanry (Westminster Dragoons). He fought in Gallipoli, was captured by the Turks near Gaza in Palestine on 14 August 1917 and died a prisoner of war.
Location of Memorial:
He is remembered on a private memorial and in the Book of Remembrance in the Church of St Saviour, Forest Hill.
