Corporal Frederick Chapman Lucas, 'E' Company 57 Battalion, County of London Home Guard was killed together with Lieutenant William W. Ray, Lieutenant Albert Edward Henry Smith, Sergt. Ernest Alfred Tarr and Lieutenant Charles Christopher Pacy and when their Headquarters at Brockley Road School was destroyed by a Flying Bomb on 19 June 1944.

He is buried at BROMLEY HILL CEMETERY Block J. Grave 259.

Location of Memorial: He is remembered on the memorial at St. Hilda's Church, Crofton Park.
