Private 8645 CHRISTOPHER JAMES LOWE of 11th (Lewisham) battalion Queen's Own (Royal West Kent Regiment) died on 19 October 1915, aged 42.
He is buried in Ladywell cemetery where his name is recorded on the screen wall listing those servicemen whose graves are not marked by a headstone.

He was born in Bermondsey, the son of George and Matilda Lowe and husband of Caroline Lowe, of 176, "K" Block, Queen's Buildings, Southwark. They married in the summer of 1894.
