War Service:
2nd lieutenant JAMES NORMAN MERRYWEATHER LOSH of the 3rd battalion Lincolnshire Regiment was killed in action on 4 October 1917, aged 22.
He served as a private in the London Regiment before being commissioned into the Lincolns.

He has no known grave and is commemorated on the Tyne Cot memorial.

Location of Memorial:
He is remembered on the war memorials at Spalding and at Goldsmiths College, New Cross where he had been a student.

Details:
He was the son of James and Lizzie Losh, of Spalding, Lincs.
