Tommy Lloyd - King's Commendation for Brave Conduct

Lloyd aged only 14, burrowed out of the bombed basement of his home at 12 Reginald Road, Deptford and assisted his six sisters to safety through the route he had made. He then helped rescue workers to find his buried mother, Mrs Emily Lloyd, and to retrieve her body
