Lance Corporal C/7068 ALEXANDER DAVID LITOLFF of 21st battalion Kings Royal Rifle Corps died on 9 August 1918 of the effects of gas.

He is buried in Ferme-Olivier Cemetery, near Ypres.

Location of Memorial:
He is remembered on the memorial at Goldsmith’s College in New Cross and on the Croydon Roll of Honour.

Details:
He was 19 years old, the son of David and Eliza Litolff, of Pembury, Chelsham Road, Croydon. After attending Archbishop Tennyson school he took a teacher training course at Goldsmith’s College starting in July 1914.
