Sergeant 2130 WALTER KENNETH LINDLEY of ā€˜Dā€™ Company, 20th (County of London) battalion, London Regiment (Blackheath and Woolwich) died of wounds on 3 October 1916, aged 19.

He is buried and remembered in Dernancourt Communal Cemetery Extension, near Albert.

He is also remembered on the war memorial at Christ Church, Forest Hill and on 20th London Regiment Roll of Honour

Details:
He was the son of Thomas and Edith Eleanor Lindley, of 22, Trewsbury Rd., Sydenham. His brother Thomas died in 1917 while serving with the 2/10th London.
