Sergeant (Air Gunner) HERBERT GEORGE LANG, Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve, was killed on 12 April 1944 while serving with 619 Squadron.
Lancaster PG-Q took off from RAF Coningsby at 2043 on 11 April to bomb Aachen. It caught fire at 16,000 feet over Holland and six of the crew were killed.

He is buried in Bergen-op-Zoom Canadian cemetery in Holland.
