Sergeant ERIC BERNARD JORDAN Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve was killed on 28 June 1943 while serving with 106 Squadron. He was 23. His Lancaster was one of two 106 Squadron aircraft lost on this operation to bomb Hamburg.

He has no known grave and is commemorated on the Air Forces Memorial at Runnymede.

He is remembered in the Brockley County School Book of Remembrance.

He was the son of Herbert and Mabel Jordan, of Catford, and husband of Audrey J. Jordan.
