Jones, Norman Keppel

Summer of 1889 to 10 January 1915.

War Service:
Private 17618 NORMAN KEPPEL JONES of the 2nd Battalion East Lancashire Regiment died on 10 January 1915, aged 26.

He has no known grave and is commemorated on the Le Touret Memorial near Bethune.

Location of Memorial:
His name also appeared on the memorial at Malvern House School, Lewisham Park, which was destroyed in an air raid during the Second World War.

Details:
He was born in Wandsworth in the summer of 1889. He was the son of Mrs. C. Keppel Jones, of Roslyn, Tamboers Kloof, Cape Town, South Africa.
