Flight Sergeant 1079623 ADRIAN EVAN TUDOR JONES, Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve, died on 20 April 1944, aged 21. At the time of his death he was serving with 235 Squadron, flying Bristol Beaufighters patrolling the Western Approaches.

He has no known grave and is commemorated on the Air Forces Memorial at Runnymede

He is remembered on the war memorial at St Dunstan’s College in Catford.

Details:
He was the son of Capt. Evan B. T. Jones and Alice R. Jones, of Thetford, Norfolk. He was educated at St Dunstan’s College, leaving in 1940. The prize for Most Promising Recruit in the school Cadet Force was later endowed by his family in his memory.
