William A V Humphries

17 January 1901 Sydenham - 12 November 1918 Colchester Military Hospital

War Service:
Pte G98134 29th London Regiment Formerly Royal Fusiliers. Died of Pneumonia whilst recovering from wounds at Colchester Military Hospital.

He is buried in Ladywell Cemetery where his name appears on the screen wall with others whose graves have no headstone.

He is remembered on the memorial at the church of St Michael and All Angels in Sydenham.

He was the son of Arthur John and Evelyn Frances Humphries of 80, Porthcawle Rd., Lower Sydenham
