War Service:
Second Lieutenant CECIL THOMAS GRAY HOYS of the 150th Battalion, Machine Gun Corps was killed on 15 September 1916. First served in the London Regiment as a Private [service numbers 2360 and 630717]. He then gained a commission as a Second Lieutenant firstly in the Royal Warwickshire Regiment and then in the 150th Bn Machine Gun Corps (Infantry) on 27 March 1916.

He is buried in the Adanac Military Cemetery, Miraumont [VI K 1].

Location of Memorial:
He is commemorated on the St Margaret's, Lee War Memorial and on the Christ Church, Lee War Memorial (where he is Guy not Gray), Church of the Good Shepherd, Lee.

Born in Lewisham RD and he died 15 September 1916.
