Howard, Alfred

Dates: 1900-1918

War Service: Alfred Howard enlisted in Whitehall and served as a Rifleman with the 58th Battalion King's Royal Rifle Corps. His service number was TR/13/64229. He died on 31st October 1918 at the VAS Hospital, Northampton.

Location of Memorial: He is buried in Brockley cemetery, where his name is recorded on the screen wall listing those whose graves have no headstone.

Details: He was born c1900 in Deptford.

In 1911 he was recorded living at 9 Bronze Street, Deptford with his parents Edward and Emily and his siblings Walter, Thomas, Frederick, Edward, Rose, Eliza, Matilda, Amy and Charlotte.
