Private 235555 WALTER LEONARD HOLBROOK of the 11th battalion West Yorkshire Regiment (Prince of Wales's Own) died on 17 July 1917.

He is buried and remembered in Larchwood (Railway Cutting) cemetery near Ypres.

Location of Memorial:
He is remembered on the war memorials at the church of St Mary the Virgin, Lewisham and at the former St Mary’s school in Lewisham High Street.

Details:
He was born in Lewisham in the autumn of 1888.
