Hawes, Alfred Henry

War Service:

Private 91506 ALFRED HENRY HAWES of 8th battalion Tank Corps died on 29 September 1918 in the fighting for the Hindenburg Line.

He is buried in Bellicourt British Cemetery.

Location of Memorial:

He is remembered on the WW1 memorial at St Augustine’s Church , Grove Park.

Details:
He was 30 years old, the husband of Margaret Hawes, of Foxbury Rd., Sundridge Park, Bromley.
