Private G/15920 CHARLES WILLIAM HARVIE of 13th battalion East Surrey Regiment was killed in action on 24 April 1917, aged 19. He enlisted in Kingston-on-Thames.

He is buried in Fifteen Ravine British Cemetery, Villers-Plouich.

Location of Memorial:
He is also remembered on the memorial at the church of St James, Hatcham.

Details:
He was the son of James Henry and Annie Sophie Harvie, of New Cross. Before enlisting he had worked as a bill poster for the South Eastern & Chatham Railway Company.
