He is remembered on the war memorial at Christ Church, Lee, also on the 20th London Regiment Roll of Honour and the War Memorial at All Saints Church, Blackheath.

He was born spring 1897 in the Lewisham RD and was the son of William and Bessie Hart, of 28, Lawn Terrace, Blackheath.
