Pilot Officer (Navigator) PETER GRAHAM HARRIS Royal Air Force died on 12 March 1943, while serving with 103 Squadron. At 1953 on 12 March his Lancaster 'PM-X' took off from RAF Elsham Wolds in Lincolnshire to bomb Essen. The aircraft crashed at Gross Reken. Two days earlier, on 10 March 1943, John Todd another former pupil of Brockley County who was also serving in 103 Squadron had been shot down on a bombing raid on Munich.

He is buried in Reichswald Forest War Cemetery.

He is remembered in the Brockley County School Book of Remembrance.

Details:
He was 26. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur E. Harris and husband of Pauline Harris, of Riverside, Cardiff.
