Harris, Leonard Thomasson

War Service:
Gunner 930568 LEONARD THOMASSON HARRIS of ‘A’ Battery, 281st Brigade, Royal Field Artillery was killed in action 19 August 1917, aged 21.

He has no known grave and is commemorated on the Tyne Cot Memorial

Location of Memorial:
He is remembered on the memorial at the church of St George, Brockley, now the Brockley Elim Baptist church.

Details:
He was born in Greenwich in the autumn of 1895, the son of Nathaniel Mason Harris and Emma Ann Harris, of "Belmont," Church Road, West Tarring, Worthing. He lived in Woolwich.
