Sub-Lieutenant STEPHEN LIONEL HALLIDAY was swept overboard and drowned on 3 February 1916 while serving on the destroyer HMS Lark. He was 21.

He was lost at sea and is remembered on the Chatham Naval Memorial.

Location of Memorial:
He is remembered on the memorial in All Saints church, Blackheath.

Details:
He was the son of Mr and Mrs J. Halliday, of 36 St. John's Park, Blackheath.
