Private 54194 LIONEL LOCKWOOD HALLIDAY of 28 Field Ambulance, Royal Army Medical Corps died of wounds on 14 July 1916.

He is buried in Peronne Road Cemetery, Maricourt.

Location of Memorial:
He was commemorated on the war memorial which formerly stood in Monson Road in New Cross.
He may be the L Halliday whose name appears on the memorial to the 1st New Cross (The Greys) scout troop.

Details:
He was born in Greenwich in the summer of 1896.
