Bandsman Robert HALL service number 8528 entered France on 6/11/1914 with the 2nd Battalion, Devonshire Regiment.
He was killed in action on 27 March 1917 aged approx 23 years (as with James BANKS, his exact age upon death is unknown but he is shown as aged 17 on the 1911 census - overseas military section)
Location of Memorial:
He was buried at the Peronne Communal Cemetery Extension, Somme, France. He is commemorated in Peronne and on the East London Industrial School memorial in Lewisham.
