Driver 14202 ALFRED HAFFENDEN of 58 Battery, 35 Brigade, Royal Field Artillery died of wounds on 22 October 1914, aged 33.
He is buried in Ypres Town Cemetery.

He is remembered on the Sydenham South Suburban Gas Works war memorial.
Details:
He was the son of George Haffenden of Eastbourne and husband of Elizabeth Agnes Haffenden, of 10, Albert Rd., Bromley. They married in the summer of 1904.
