Private G/11915 CHARLES FREDERICK GREENAWAY of 10th (Royal East Kent and West Kent Yeomanry) the Buffs (East Kent Regiment) died on 31 October 1917, almost certainly in the fighting for Beersheba.

He is buried in Beersheba War Cemetery in Palestine.

He is remembered on the war memorial in the church of St George, Catford

Details:
He was 26 years old, the son of Richard and Selina Greenaway of Catford and husband of Olive Mary Greenaway, of 123, Francis Rd., Leyton.
