Captain HUMPHREY DE BUTTS GRANT of ‘A’ Battery, 63 Brigade, Royal Field Artillery died on 3 October 1915, aged 30.

He is buried in Dud Corner cemetery, Loos.

Location of Memorial:

He is remembered on the memorial to the 91 and 139 Field Regiment, Royal Artillery in St Swithun’s church, Hither Green.

Details:

He was the son of Colonel S. C. N. Grant, C.B., C.M.G., C.B.E. (late Royal Engineers) and Georgina Annie Louisa Grant of Norton, Yarmouth, Isle of Wight and the husband of Elsie Grant.
