Grainger, Henry Edward

War Service: Henry Edward Grainger (or Granger) served as a Private with the Essex Regiment and his service number was 22774. He previusly served with the Royal West Kent Regiment. He died on 21st October 1918 at the General Hospital, Sheffield.

Location of Memorial: He is buried in Brockley cemetery, where his name is recorded on the screen wall listing those whose graves have no headstone.

Details: His effects were claimed by his brothers William and Charles, his sisters Mrs Amelia Gay, Mrs Ellen White and Mrs Jane Page, and his sister-in-law, Helen French.
