War Service:
Lance Sergeant 1825 GERALD ROBERT GOOSEY served with the 1/20th Battalion London Regiment and died on 25 September 1915.

He has no known grave and is commemorated on the Loos Memorial.

Location of Memorial:
He is remembered on the 20th London Regiment Roll of Honour. His name also appeared on the memorial at Malvern House School, Lewisham Park, which was destroyed in an air raid during the Second World War. He is also remembered on the St Dunstan's WW 1 War Memorial the inscription reads:
GERALD ROBERT GOOSEY
Sergeant 20th London Regiment
Born. May 11th 1890
Entered the College. 1900
Prefect 1906
Left the College 1907
Hon Secretary Old Dunstonian Club 1912
KILLED IN ACTION IN FRANCE
September 25th 1915

Details:
He was the son of John George and Margaret Elizabeth Goosey, of 4 Kedale Road, Seaford, Sussex. He was born in Lewisham in the summer of 1890.
