Private 245042 WILLIAM STANLEY GOLDING of 2/2nd battalion Royal Fusiliers was killed in action on 17 September 1917. He is buried in Track X cemetery, Ypres.

Location of Memorial:

He is remembered on the roll of honour of St Mark’s church, Clarendon Rise The church tower was destroyed during WW2 and the rest of the building demolished in 1980 and the roll is now displayed in St Stephen’s church.

Details:

He was born in Eltham. He had previously served as private 633589 in the 20th battalion London Regiment.
