He is buried at the GOMMECOURT BRITISH CEMETERY No.2, HEBUTERNE [V. J. 28].

Details:
He was born spring 1897 at Lee. Son of Alfred Godfree, of "Melbury", Southborough Road, Bromley, Kent. Born at Lee, Mother Kate [nee Hatcher Married Spring 1883 in the Greenwich RD, she died Spring 1911 at 50 in the Lewisham RD]. His Brother Tom Hatcher Godfree also died in WW1.
