Private 11273 CHARLES HORACE GLOVER of 11th (Lewisham) battalion Queen's Own (Royal West Kent Regiment) died in Lewisham on 25 February 1919. On 10 November at the age of 40, he re-enlisted having previously served for 8 years with the Royal West Surrey Regiment. On 17 July 1917 he was discharged as no longer fit for service.

He is buried in Ladywell cemetery where his name is recorded on the screen wall listing those servicemen whose graves are not marked by a headstone.

He was the husband of Clara Glover of 129 Perry Rise, Forest Hill. He gave his occupation as painter..
