Private 3753 Robert Alfred GEORGE was killed in action on 10 August 1918 age 21 while serving with 6 Battalion, Australian Infantry. He enlisted on 6 July 1916 and arrived in France via Alexandria on 2 April 1916.

He has no known grave and is commemorated on the Villers-Bretonneux Memorial

He is remembered on the war memorials at St Andrew's Church Catford.

He was the son of Robert Knight George of 212 Ardgowan Road, Catford and the late Louisa Mary George. He was born in Brixton.
