Private FRANK EUGENE GAMBLIN of 2nd battalion Devonshire Regiment was killed in action on 31 May 1918, aged 19.

He has no known grave and is commemorated on the Soissons Memorial.

Location of Memorial:
He is remembered on the on the memorials at St Mary’s School and the former church of St Mark, Lewisham.

Details:
He was the son of Thomas Frederick and Edith E Gamblin of Lewisham. His brother Thomas was killed on 6 January 1918 while serving with the Royal Field Artillery.
