Dates: 1877-1918

War Service: P Gallivan enlisted under the name Patrick Howard on 30th November 1914. He served as a Private with the 10th Battalion East Surrey Regiment transferred to (TR/10/20581) 30th Battalion Training Reserve. His service number was 6026. He died 22nd September 1918, aged 54.

Location of Memorial: He is buried in Brockley cemetery, where his name is recorded on the screen wall listing those whose graves have no headstone.

Details: When he enlisted he gave his address as 10 Sangate Street, Lambeth and his next of kin as Francis Flemmings. He was discharged on 6th December 1916 due to being physically unfit. His discharge papers record that he was aged 49, 5 ft 6 inches tall with blue eyes and light brown hair. His address was given as 31 Griffiths Street, Deptford. His occupation was labourer. His military character was very good and his conduct was quite sound.
