Rifleman 2264 GEORGE FUSSELL of the 6th Battalion the London Regiment (City of London Rifles) was killed in action on 23 May 1915, aged 24.

He is buried in Brown’s Road Military Cemetery, Festubert.

Location of Memorial:
He is remembered on the memorials at the church of St George, Brockley, now the Brockley Elim Baptist church, and at the church of St James, Hatcham.

Details:
He was the son of Henry Thomas and Mary Fussell, of 41, Revelon Rd., Brockley.
