Private 198617 THOMAS FUNGE of 366 Reserve Employment Company, Labour Corps died in Greenwich on 21 October 1917. He had previously served as private 36489 in the Northamptonshire Regiment. He enlisted on 10 December 1915 and was discharged from the army on 10 November 1917 through ill health.

Location of Memorial:
He is buried in Brockley Cemetery where his name is recorded on the screen wall listing those whose graves have no headstone.

Details:
He was the husband of Catherine Funge, of 34, Lamerton Street, Deptford High Street, They married in Greenwich in the autumn of 1900.
