War Service:
Stoker 1st Class CHARLES FRY, Royal Navy died on 17 June 1918 of wounds sustained when the cruiser H.M.S. Conquest hit a mine. He was 21.

Location of Memorial:
He is remembered on the screen wall of the Commonwealth War Graves plot in Ladywell cemetery, and also in the Book of Remembrance at the church of St Saviour, Forest Hill.

He was the son of Mrs Alice Bradman (formerly Fry) of Dairnan Road, Forest Hill.
