Private 5727266 ALBERT EDWARD ROBERT FREELAND of the Army Catering Corps died on 9 May 1945, aged 26.
At the time of his death he was serving with 1st Airlanding Light Regiment, Royal Artillery.

Location of Memorial:
He is buried in Brockley cemetery, where his name is recorded on the screen wall listing those whose graves have no headstone.

Details:
He was the son of Alexander and Elsie Dorothy Freeland and the husband of husband of Bridgid Freeland, of Ballycastle, Co. Antrim. They married in Lewisham in the summer of 1942.
