Sergeant ERIC PERCIVAL FAHMY of 8th battalion Seaforth Highlanders was killed in action on 25 September 1915, aged 24. He landed at Boulogne with the battalion on 9 July 1915.

He has no known grave and is commemorated on the Loos Memorial.

He is remembered on the memorial at Blackheath Congregational Church

Details:
He was born in Amoy, China, where his father Ahmed Fahmy, M.D., C.M., ran a hospital. His parents later retired to 31, Dick Place, Edinburgh.
