Private George Edney Service Number G/11277 of the 11th Bn. Queen's Own (Royal West Kent Regiment). He died 15th September 1916 aged 22.

Location of Memorial:
He is remembered on the Thiepval Memorial (Pier and Face 11 C.) to those who died during the Battle of the Somme and have no known grave.

Details:
He was the son of Herbert And Ada Edney, of Lower Flat, 32a, Mount Pleasant Rd., Lewisham.
