War Service:
Private Diss, William Frederick 43741 of the 11th Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers. He enlisted in London and was killed in action 16 August 1917

He has no known grave and is commemorated on the Tyne Cot Memorial to the missing in the Ypres Salient.

Location of Memorial:
He is remembered on the memorials at St Cyprian's Church WW1 Catford, St George's Church, now the Brockley Elim Baptist church and on the memorial at the church of St James, Hatcham.

Details:
He was born in the autumn of 1894 in Deptford.
