Private T/270082 FRANK JOHN DIER MM of 10th (Royal East Kent and West Kent Yeomanry) Battalion, The Buffs (East Kent Regiment) was killed in action on 22 September 1918. The award of his Military Medal was announced in the London Gazette of 29 March 1919.

He has no known grave and is commemorated on the Vis-en-Artois Memorial

He is remembered on the memorial at Goldsmiths College, New Cross.

Details:
He was 32, the son of Gertrude Dier, of 91, Beresford Rd., Gillingham, and the late William Dier. He married Ellen Lovica Hunter in the summer of 1918.
