Rifleman 6898020 ERIC JOHN DICKENS of 2nd battalion Kings Royal Rifle Corps (The Rangers) died on 12 July 1944.

He is buried in Secqueville-en-Bessin war cemetery between Bayeux and Caen in Normandy.

He is remembered on the Roll of Honour in the church of St John the Baptist.

Details:
He was 22 years old, the son of Charles R. and Morfydd Dickens, of Southampton.
